Dr Kayann Busshaus

Dr Kayann Busshaus is a native of North Central Pa. From a very early age she wanted to become a Veterinarian. She graduated form University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in June 1990. After graduation, Dr. Busshaus worked in a mixed animal practice for 5 years. She Then started her own mobile large animal practice where she mainly treated dairy cows, work horses ,buggy horses and pleasure horses. In June 2010,  Dr. Busshaus opened Furry Friends Animal Clinic where she provides care for mainly dogs and cats. In her free time, Dr. Busshaus and her Miniature Dachshund Miller can be found riding her Harley. She also enjoys bicycling and rowing. Miller prefers napping instead of exercising.

Heather Sechrist

Heather Sechrist is a CVT with 25 years experience. She began working at Furry Friends in 2016. While not at work, Heather enjoys spending time with her fiance Ted and her two cats Clarabelle and Reaper.

Chloe Shipman

Chloe Shipman: Chloe has been working at Furry Friend since January 2022. This is her first job in the Veterinary field and she loves every minute of it. While not at work she enjoys spending time with her family and her pets. She has a Yorkie named Charlie, 2 pot bellied pigs named Bacon and Poppy and she has 6 pet chickens.

Brooke Cates

Brooke Cates joined the team as a full time receptionist in June 2022. Brooke started her career at the age of 18, working at her hometown veterinary clinic as a veterinary assistant. Brooke received her Veterinary Associates degree in 2019. Brooke grew up around many different animals, and caring for them has a special place in her heart. She loves spending time with her family,including 2 dogs and 4 cats. She also has a passion for horses and loves spending quality time at the barn with her horse Roxy.

Cierra Hoffman

Cierra Hoffman joined out team in August 2022. She has been working in the veterinary field for the past 8 years. Cierra received her associates degree in Veterinary Technology from Penn foster in 2018. When Cierra is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family and her 2 dogs and 5 cats.
