Furry Friends Animal Clinic located in Northumberland, PA is looking a veterinarian who shares our practice philosophy of providing the best possible care for our clients and patients in a compassionate and caring environment. We stress good communication skills as well as empathy and understanding of our clients’ needs.

We are a full-service hospital with state-of-the-art equipment that offers a wide range of veterinary services in the following areas. Routine health care including wellness exams, in house labs, and treatment of injuries and illnesses. Diagnostics include exams, lab work and imaging. Routine surgeries include spays/neuters mass removals exploratory laparotomies with foreign body removal, cystotomies, splenectomies and prophylactic gastropexies. Dental services include digital radiographs teeth cleanings and extractions. We also provide OFA certification radiographs.
The ideal candidate would be a new or recent graduate looking for mentorship leading to a partnership/ownership position.

Work week id 4 – 4 ½ days. No emergencies, No weekends, no on call. We believe in a true life/ work balance.
Starting Salary $115,000 +Health Benefits, CE and more.

Our area allows for plenty of outdoor activities including hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, bicycling, motorcycling. Within 2 hours you can be in the Poconos, Watkins Glenn, NY. within 2-3 hrs. you can be in Philadelphia New York City. Harrisburg is only 1 hour away. We have state of the art healthcare facilities nearby, Geisinger Medical center is 10 miles away UPMC is 30 minutes away.
